We hope the following information will be a good start toward answering some of the questions which may arise. General

I just purchased, how do I book my reservation for next year?
Enrollment with RCI is a very detailed process. Your purchase information, point schedules and many other important specifics are prepared prior to receiving your RCI card. Once you receive the RCI card (within 90 days from your purchase date) you are ready for a lifetime of vacations (prior to receiving the card, RCI will not have your membership information).

We know that you may want to schedule some travel prior to RCI activating your account. So, we have two great options for you that are special to ONLY Coral Resorts owners:
1) Sun and Seas Vacations, this is a special program designed for Coral Resorts owners. It offers travel opportunities that cannot be found anywhere on the web or from any travel agent. We know this is going to be one of your favorite benefits - you can contact customer service at 1-800-851-9117, let them know you are a new owner at Coral Resorts and you have not received any of your cards or pass codes yet and they will gladly help you.

2) The Coral Resorts Developer Week Program: this program is only available to Coral Resorts owners. We have made a number of exclusive condominiums on Hilton Head available to our owners, even if they have used their week or points already this year. This is not a rental program. It is an internal booking benefit that allows you to stay in one of our condominiums on Hilton Head Island simply for the price of its prevailing maintenance fee. Condominiums are available all year round on a limited space available basis. How do I pay the remaining balance on my purchase?
If you're paying the balance within 30 days of your initial purchase, this can be made via personal, cashiers or certified check.

How does the referral program work?
Coral Resorts has the number #1 referral program in the travel industry. Your friends are our friends - and we will treat them that way. Our referral program is simple - Simple to get your maintenance fees paid each year!

There are two ways to get this done:

1) Send five friends in a calendar year and your maintenance fees are paid

2) If any one of your friend's purchase RCI points with us, we will waive your maintenance fees for that year - even if you send less than five.

(please note: no more than one maintenance fee waiver will be issued in any calendar year - all referral programs are based upon a calendar year and do not carry over to the next year).


What is the difference in Fixed Weeks, Floating Weeks, and RCI Points?
Fixed Week Ownership gives you the same week every calendar year.

Floating Week Ownership gives you the capability of moving your week around during your season.

RCI Points Your week at your resort is automatically banked with RCI Points and is exchanged for points. These points can be used to make reservations throughout the calendar year in any of the RCI resorts worldwide. These points can be divided up to make multiple reservations in any one year for short stays or even longer stays, or you can save up your points to use for really elaborate vacations when your schedule permits.

How many rounds of golf come with my week?
One round per day for four people excluding cart fees (at Coral Resorts affiliated courses on Hilton Head Island).

What courses can we use?
In Shipyard Plantation, there are three courses, Galleon, Clipper and Brigantine. In Port Royal Plantation, there are also three courses: Robber's Row, Planter's Row and Barony.

What does the Maintenance Fee include?
Your maintenance fee is paid to the Homeowners Association at your resort, and is used to pay the taxes, insurance, and general upkeep on your resort and villa. Maintenance fee bills are mailed out during the late fall quarter, prior to your use year and are due by January 15th. For billing questions call 843-842-5583.

What is Developer Week?
Some properties include an addendum that gives the owner the option to use an additional week per year at the cost of a maintenance fee. These weeks can be requested no more than 90 days prior to the date of check-in. Reservations for this week can be made by calling toll-free 1-866-610-WEEK (9335).

What is the difference in an annual, bi-annual or tri-ennial program?
An Annual Ownership
Provides the right to usage on the resort once per year during the designated season or the villa can be given to RCI and exchanged for points and used anytime during the year through the RCI system. The maintenance fee is due once per year.

A Bi-Annual Ownership
Gives the owner the right to usage on their resort once every other year during the designated season or the villa can be given to RCI in exchange for points to be used each year through the RCI system. The maintenance fee is due once every two years.

A Tri-Ennial Ownership
Gives the owner the right to usage on their resort every three years during the designated season or the unit can be given to RCI in exchange for points to be used each year through the RCI system. The maintenance fee is due once every three years.


Can I rent my week?
While vacation ownership is designed for personal enjoyment, there are some agencies that offer these services. It is our central goal to provide you the highest service and always earn your trust. Thus, in order to insure that we have no conflict of interest for rental rates or resale levels, Coral Resorts does not offer a rental or resale program to its owners.

What is the Instant Exchange Program?
RCI allows you to book resort stays up to two years in advance; however, they have implemented a very exciting program for travelers who are willing to getaway on very short notice. By making your reservations 45 days or less with RCI in any "weeks" resort, most reservations will be 9000 points or less, based upon availability. This allows you to go to some of the best locations in the world for only a fraction of your points.
